In Los Angles a conference of the hacking family Defcon was held mainly due to promote and encourage the young hackers. The environment of the conference became much interesting when a 10 year old girl revealed a bug which is present in many games but most of us do not think in such a way.
Many of us have played games like Farmville, cityville and other such games on your iPhones or Android devices. CyFi discovered a way to speed up the game. Most of such games can detect if we try to change the timing of our iPhone or tablet. But the main point which this girl found was that if the WiFi is disconnected and the time is changed by a small amount then it cannot be detected by the game and the game time is also forwarded. Hours in the game can be spent in minutes by applying this trick.
CyFi’s this discovery was also confirmed by the Independent Security researchers.
This trick can work on both iPhone and Android applications but it has not been told that which applications are exactly having this loop hole. It has not been disclosed to give the game creators some time to fix their applications.
